It's been 5 months

Hello everyone, we have been away for a little bit but want to make sure we give you a little update on us before you see the pics. We had been praying for about 2 months for direction and what He would have us do now and the Lord has directed our hearts to become a part of Idlewild Baptist Church in Lutz, FL... not too far from Wesley Chapel. We want to thank everyone with all our hearts for all the prayers and financial support for NorthBridge Church. We pray God's best for the church and that He continues to pour out blessings upon each family represented there. Joimil and I are doing great. He often travels but it is not as much as before. As for me, homeschooling of course comes with its challenges but overall it is a blessing to be able to teach my own kids. They are learning so many neat things and also challenged with hard work to do given by mama! LOL The boys are still playing soccer and Aiyana is in a dance class called Sister's In Christ. They will soon perform for Talent night with the homeschool group and I will post some pictures of that as well when the time comes. Julissa, Jasmin and Joimil are doing great in school. Julissa is getting straight A's in all subjects, Jasmin is a little challenged with math and science but she is working hard at it and Joimil does really well on all subjects as well. If I have not mentioned to you, Jeter has been diagnosed with amblyopia (rare form of lazy eye), please pray for his eye and for continued progress in sight. His eye is perfectly healthy, but his brain has shut down his left eye causing loss of vision. It is correctable but there's much needed prayer along with therapy.
Check the pictures below... I am sure you will enjoy them! God bless you all...

My Grandma

My Grandma Fela in her kitchen where she loved to be cooking for all her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Tonight I am having a sleepless night thinking am I going to make it on time to see my Grandmother at the hospital tomorrow morning or is God just going to slip her away at no ones notice so that she can go in peace. My Grandmother is such a strong woman and she has always displayed that in everything she does. She worked strong, she loved strong, she lived strong and is laying in her hospital bed fighting strong. At some point, God calls us home and the real question is not how you lived your life here on earth, but are you ready to live in eternity with God. My Grandma gave her life to Jesus many years ago and I know that my Grandmother will live in eternity with God and He has her in the palm of His hand right now. I am not losing sleep over that, but I am wanting to be by her side right now.
Please pray that God will have His will and way with her and that if it is her time that her sweeps her off her feet into eternal heaven with Him and if it is not her time that He miraculously heal her of all sickness and be a wonderful testimony of His Might~
I LOVE YOU GRANDMA!

Its been a long while...

Hello friends and family, it's been a while since we've been on and we just want to update you with what's going on currently with our family. So far everything has been great. We have had some wonderful experiences out here in Wesley Chapel. Can you believe our one-year mark will be on May 27th? This is just crazy to me when I think about it because it seems like we just packed our bags and moved from Kennesaw, Georgia to Wesley chapel, Florida. Time flies and it's a great reminder that we need not waste our time doing foolish things but always being productive for the Lord. We just recently had the middle schoolers from Woodstock Georgia come and help to do outreach in our community and it was a great success. A HUGE thank you to all the middle schoolers that decided to come here to Wesley chapel for their spring break to help our church to reach our community for Christ. It was such a blessing to myself and my family and our church plant, Northbridge Church. Pray for us to continue staying focused and not to lose momentum. Enjoy the pictures and please feel free to comment and let us know how we can pray for you today!

Harvest time is here...

It is already the 2nd week in November and I feel like we just got over September. October just flew by but a great thing happened in October. My mother-in-law turned 60 and what a beautiful experience it was to see her blossom into this age. She doesn't look it nor does she act like it and I am seeing that more and more in women today. I love that! For some reason or another I have more desire to speak with matured godly women now more than ever. I feel like God is giving me that to help me mature in Him. God is so tender in His mighty ways and I can honestly say that He has given me a heart to love my mother-in-law now more than ever. I loved the way she gracefully took on this new age. I am now 32 and have a ways to go but just seeing her encouraged me to know that age is really nothing but a number. It is truly what you make of it. I look forward to many years to come.
